November 11, 2009-The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Orlando Magic faced off against each other for the first time in the 2009-10 NBA season tonight. They had an epic battle last year n the 2009 NBA Eastern Conference Finals,
with Orlando winning that series.
Tonight's game was a different story, however. The Cavaliers lead the whole game and ended up thumping the Orlando Magic by a score of 102-93. The night didn't start off so well for Orlando. Dwight Howard picked up two quick fouls and had to sit out for a long time, alowing the Cavs to attack the paint and take a big lead and take control of the game early. And the Magic just could not recover. Plus, they were in the second game of a back-to-back. Not much energy. Flat.
LeBron James scored 36 points and Mo Williams had a huge game with 28. Shaq added 8 points as the Cavaliers run their 2009-10 record to 5-3.
Meanwhile, Orlando Magic super star Dwight Howard had a miserable game. He only scored 11 points with 7 rebounds. Shaq definately bothered Howard in the paint. Vince Carter lead the Magic in scoring with 24 points and Jameer Nelson chipped in with 15 in the Magic's loss tonight.
