May 19, 2011-LeBron James and the Miami Heat got embarrassed by the Chicago Bulls in Game #1 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals
last sunday as they were blown out 103-82.
Last night's Game #2 was a different story, however! The Heat came back with an impressive 85-75 win to steal home court away from Derrick Rose
and the Bulls.
LeBron was huge down the stretch for Miami and he ended up with 29 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and shot 12-21 from the field.
His partner in crime, Dwyane Wade ended up with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists while shooting 8-16 from the field.
The Heat also got an extra spark from Udonis Haslem as he came off the bench to score 13 points with 5 rebounds and 2 assists. The Heat
have really missed Haslem as he was out for most of the 2010-11 season due to injury. But with him back now, he could be the difference
as this series moves on.
On the other side, the Chicago Bulls struggled all night. Their super star Derrick Rose did end up with 21 points, but he only shot
a measly 7-23 from the field. Rose did end up with a somewhat impressive 8 assists in Chicago's loss. Much relied on Carlos Boozer
also had an off night as he scored only 7 points on 3-10 shooting.
Now the series heads to Miami where LeBron James and the Heat will try to protect their home court advantage. Game #3 will be played
this coming Sunday, May 22, 2011. If the Bulls have any chance, the NBAs MVP Derrick Rose will need to come up huge for Chicago.
